It is smoothie season here in Revive Active HQ!

There is nothing more refreshing than a cold smoothie on these (sometimes) sunny summer days!

We have decided to share with you some of our favourite recipes designed specifically to enhance the taste of our supplements.

Not only are they a tasty alternative to sugary snacks but they also provide numerous health benefits. 

Revive Active Smoothie Making

3 Reasons You Should Have a Smoothie:

  1. Boost your Daily Intake of Fruit & Vegetables: Depending on which ingredients you use, they are a great way to boost your nutritional needs. Mixed with our supplements you will be well on your way to getting your recommended daily amount.
  2. Smoothies Help Keep You Hydrated: A smoothie for breakfast (or at any time of the day) helps to keep you hydrated for the day, which we all know fizzy drinks and coffee won’t do (we’ve tried and tested that theory here in Revive HQ!). Our bodies pull water from our food in order to stay hydrated, so you won’t have to drink as much water when you’re sipping on a smoothie (especially a homemade one without sugar – our supplements also contain no sugar).
  3. Simple & Easy to Make: All you need is a good blender and a handful of ingredients – we like to use frozen ingredients as they last longer! You can also take them on the go, making for a healthy and tasty snack at any time of the day.

 Original Orange and Mango Madness

Ingredients:

  • 200ml of orange juice
  • 2 Oranges – peeled
  • 2 Mangos – peeled and sliced
  • 1 Banana, peeled & sliced
  • 1/4 Pineapple – optional for added flavour
  • 1 Sachet of Revive Active Original

Directions:

Add all your ingredients to your blender and blend until smooth. Add water or additional orange juice if the mixture is too thick.

Pour and enjoy!

Mixed Berry Blast

Joint Complex

Ingredients:

  • 100g of Blueberries
  • 100g of Raspberries
  • 50g Strawberries
  • 250ml of Orange Juice
  • 1 Tablespoon of Ginger (optional)
  • 1 Sachet of Joint Complex

Directions:

Add all your ingredients to your blender and blend until smooth. Add water or additional orange juice if the mixture is too thick.

Pour and enjoy!

 

Outrageous Orange 

Revive Active Mastermind

Ingredients:

  • 250ml of Orange juice
  • 100ml of Low-Fat Yogurt
  • 1/4 Teaspoon of Ground Cinnamon
  • 1 Banana, slices
  • 1 Sachet of Mastermind

Directions:

Add all your ingredients to your blender and blend until smooth. Add water or additional orange juice if the mixture is too thick.

Pour and enjoy!
