Peanut Butter & Chocolate Cookies

Cookies – our favourite healthy treat here in Revive Active HQ!

Who knew cookies could be healthy? Why not swap out your favourite treat for these equally delicious peanut butter and chocolate chip cookies.

Ingredients:

  • 2 Medium Ripe Bananascookies-1.html
  • 50g of Coconut Suagr (you can use whatever sugar substitute you want)
  • 50g of Peanut Butter (smooth or chunky, it’s up to you)
  • 100g of Flour (we used Buckwheat, but you can use what ever you want)
  • 1/2 teaspoon of Baking Soda
  • 50g of Dark Chocolate Chips

Directions:

1. Preheat your oven to 160 degrees Celsius

2. Mash up the bananas

3. Add the peanut butter to the bananas and mix thoroughly

4. Add the flour, sugar and baking powder and continue to mix thoroughly

5. Add the dark chocolate chips

6. Grease or line your baking tray and spoon your mixture onto it in 12 even scoops

7. Bake in the oven for 20 minutes until lightly browned

8. Leave to cool on a wire rack

9. Once cool they are ready to serve or you can store them in a container for 7 days (although they didn’t last that long here in Revive HQ!)
