Salmon and Dill Burgers Recipe from Wendy Hill

Posted by Wendy Hill on

Eating a lighter meal in the evening helps support sleep.

If we eat a heavy meal later in the evening it can disrupt sleep, so I will often enjoy these salmon burgers with a green salad knowing that they are filled with ingredients that help support my sleep.

Sleep-Supporting Ingredients

Salmon, and other types of fish are high in an amino acid called Tryptophan which is one of the ingredients our body needs in order to make Melatonin - our sleep hormone. As well as being a health source of Omega 3, an essential fatty acid that many of us struggle to consume enough of in our diet.

Combined with Sweet Potatoes which give lots of fibre in a slow release to help manage blood glucose levels, along vitamins A, and B6.

They can be enjoyed by all the family, and feel like a real treat, when you know that they are supporting your health and wellbeing.
