Type 1 Collagen is the essential insoluble fibrous protein that gives our skin its structure. When collagen is hydrolysed, meaning it is broken down into smaller chains of amino acids, it becomes bioavailable and is more easily absorbed by the body. Hydrolysed collagen is known as Collagen Peptides.
