Almond Butter Stuffed Dates Recipe

  • ½ cup of almond nut butter
  • 10 medjool dates
  • 2 tablespoons of cacao nibs

How to make these Almond Butter Stuffed Dates

  • Make a cut lengthwise in your medjool date with a knife and remove the pit
  • Add a spoonful of almond butter to the center of the date
  • Sprinkle with cacao nibs

This is an easy no cook recipe containing protein and healthy fat from the almond butter, and minerals such as potassium, magnesium, calcium, and iron from the medjool dates.

The mixture of protein, fat and carbohydrate in one snack is an effective way to balance the blood sugar and sustain energy throughout the day which is especially important for growing teens.

Almond butter stuffed dates are great to make for meal prep too. Just batch prepare and store in an air-tight container to grab and go when you need a boost.
